Swiss pilot Yves Rossy strapped on a jet powered wing and leaped from a plane His performance capped five years and many years of dreaming.Rossy stepped out of the swiss built aircraft at 7500,feet and unfolded the rigid eight foot wings strapped to his back before jumping.
Passing from a free fall gentle glide,Rossy triggered four jet turbines and accelerated to 300 kms per hour-about 100 kms per hour faster than the typical falling skydiver.
